In this hand you raise to $8 in the cut-off with KK and only the bb calls. The flop comes J♥ 7♠ 7♣. He checks. You bet $12. He calls and the turn is Q♦. He checks and you bet $30. He calls and the river 2♥. He checks and you bet $70. He moves in for $160.

Correct Answer: Fold
This sucks but you really have to fold. Your opponent just isn't ever bluffing here. It's just more than a min-raise and he really expects you to call here - which means you have to fold.

I'm not a fan of the bet on the river by the Pre-flop raiser. Had to figure he was beat on the river if he gets called, so why not just check and save your money?

I actually agree on that one, unless he's a bad player. Can't you see some people we play with calling down with QJ or AJ or something, might even call that final bet and pay you off big, and they haven't shown much strength. You're best bet probably would have been to check there, you're really not gonna win much money betting there, but depends on who you're facing I guess.

I would bet thinner on the river, about 40. Your opponent will call with a queen, and maybe even a Jack depending on your image and the skill of the player. If you get raised big, you fold.

I don't see them calling on the flop with any Q you can beat but QJ, and that'd be about the only thing you'd get a value call on the river with. Maybe a good jack like AJ but that's a stretch and would only happen with bad players, who prolly wouldn't make this move anyway. Plus if you bet light on the river you risk them pulling a move and raising you without an actual hand, then you're kicking yourself...
The best option really is to just check the river, that bet is rarely gonna win you any more money, but will more often than not lose you your bet, so play it safe and show it down.
