You’ve sat down at your computer and are playing in a six-max $1/$2 No-Limit game online. The under-the-gun player is a megafish. In this hand he raises to $8 and everyone folds to you on the button. You elect to smooth-call with J♥T♥ and the blinds fold. The flop comes down 8♥ Q♥ 6♣. Your opponent bets $20.

Correct Answer: Call

Yes, you have a combo draw and yes, it’s usually correct to fast-play this type of hand. However, against this type of player I’d argue that flat-calling is best. For one, you have absolutely no fold equity. You should just call now and hope your draw hits, and punish him then.
