Question

You are playing in the later stages of a online sit and go. There are six players left and play has been fairly aggressive so far. The blinds are at $50/100 and you have an average stack around $2,000. In this hand it’s folded to the cut-off, who makes a raise to $300 with about 3,000 behind. The button and the small blind fold. You are in the big blind and look down at J♠10♠.

Correct Answer: Raise all-in

This is the stage in a sit-and-go where most people accumulate chips. The cut-off is likely raising a wide range of hands. Your three-bet shove is a resteal; it’s not for value. Ideally you would like your opponent to fold. However, do not fret if you are called. You’re only a 42-58 dog, even against A-K.
